Narvyn Technologies removes the repetitive work Indian small businesses genuinely lose hours to — lead alerts, follow-up reminders, fee and payment nudges, daily reports — and builds it once, so there is no per-seat fee afterwards.
Scope sheet · Automation
What this brief covers
written by hand — no templates, no filler pages
— written for people first, search engines second
Automation for an Indian SMB is rarely about artificial intelligence. It is about the four or five messages someone sends by hand every day: the alert when a website enquiry arrives, the reminder to a parent that a fee instalment is due, the nudge to a customer whose quotation is a week old, the low-stock warning to the purchase officer, and the sales summary the owner asks for every evening. Each is trivial on its own. Together they consume a person.
WhatsApp is where most of that work happens, because it is where Indian customers actually reply. Narvyn Technologies builds two routes into it, and the choice is made honestly during scoping. Click-to-chat links with pre-filled templates need no approval and cost nothing per message, which is enough for most one-to-one follow-up. The official WhatsApp Business API is required for automated template messages at volume, and it depends on Meta approval and delivered-message charges that vary by market and category — so that approval time belongs inside the project plan, not after it.
The rest is ordinary workflow automation, which is unglamorous and pays for itself: leads routed to an owner by rule the moment they arrive, follow-up reminders that fire on a schedule, reports generated and delivered without anyone being chased, approval alerts, document handling, and data moved between systems so nobody retypes it. Where a client already runs a visual workflow tool such as n8n or Zapier, Narvyn will work with it rather than insist on replacing it; where the logic belongs inside the client’s own system, it is built in Django and Celery with ownership and handover terms agreed in writing.
Automation that acts without supervision is how a business damages its own customer relationships at scale. Narvyn keeps a human approving anything that spends money, contacts customers in bulk or changes a record irreversibly, and every automated action is written to an audit log. AI is used only where judgement over unstructured text genuinely helps — summarising, classifying, extracting from documents — and even then the output is proposed, not sent.
Confirm the ownership, licensing and recurring provider costs in the written agreement.
A website or ad enquiry is routed to an owner and notified within seconds, which is the single largest determinant of whether it converts.
Fee instalments, quotation follow-ups, renewals and appointments are chased on schedule instead of when somebody remembers.
The evening summary and the weekly review arrive on their own, built from the system rather than from someone re-keying a spreadsheet.
Anything that spends money or messages customers in bulk waits for human approval, and every automated action is written to an audit log.
Which route applies — click-to-chat or the official Business API — is settled before the build, along with the approval time it needs.
Repetitive tasks are listed with an honest estimate of the staff time each consumes, and automation is ordered by that, not by what is easiest.
Triggers, conditions, actions, approval steps, failure paths and escalation are mapped, including what happens when a message does not send.
Anything needing platform approval — the WhatsApp Business API, message templates — is started early so it is not what delays go-live.
The flows are built against the client’s systems, forms, database and messaging providers, with validation and rate limits from the start.
The first weeks are monitored on real volume, edge cases are fixed, and anything that turns out not to be worth automating is switched off.
There are two routes and they behave differently. Click-to-chat links open WhatsApp with a message already written, need no approval and cost nothing per message — enough for most one-to-one follow-up. The official WhatsApp Business API is required for automated template messages at volume, and depends on Meta approval plus delivered-message charges that vary by market and category. Narvyn Technologies settles which route applies during scoping, so the approval time sits inside the plan.
