Narvyn Technologies builds CRM systems for Indian companies whose sales process does not fit a packaged product — and says plainly when it does fit one, because a CRM nobody uses is worse than the spreadsheet it replaced.

What this brief covers
written by hand — no templates, no filler pages
— written for people first, search engines second
Most Indian SMBs do not lose deals because their CRM is weak. They lose deals because there is no CRM: enquiries sit in one person’s WhatsApp, a second person’s call log and a third person’s spreadsheet, and nobody can say which leads went cold this week. The first job of a CRM build is not features. It is getting every enquiry into one place with an owner, a stage and a next action date.
A CRM built by Narvyn Technologies captures leads from website forms, ad landing pages, WhatsApp and manual entry, tags each with its source and the page it arrived from, assigns an owner by rule and notifies that owner immediately. From there it holds pipeline stages, follow-up reminders, call notes, quotations, files and a full status history — shaped to the client’s actual sales cycle rather than to a fixed pipeline someone else designed.
Custom is not automatically the right answer. Zoho, Kylas, LeadSquared and similar products are well built and start working the same week, and for a standard pipeline and a small team they are the cheaper choice. A custom build earns its cost when the pipeline has stages a packaged product cannot express, when reporting or permissions must match the company structure, when the CRM has to sit inside an existing system, or when per-user fees are growing faster than the sales team.
Narvyn runs its own custom CRM, so the demonstration is a working system rather than a slide deck. Every engagement is quoted in INR after a free scoping call, delivered in phases, and handed over with the source code and database belonging to the client — there is no per-seat licence and nothing to keep renewing to retain access to your own customer records.
Website, ad, WhatsApp and manual leads land in one system with a source tag, an owner and a next action date attached.
Each lead carries the page, campaign and timestamp it arrived with, so how fast the team replies stops being a matter of opinion.
Site visits, quotations, sample dispatch, renewals — the stages are the ones your sales actually has, not a generic five-step funnel.
Agree licensing, user limits, hosting and ongoing costs in the written proposal.
Overdue follow-ups, conversion by stage, source performance and activity per salesperson, filterable and exportable for review meetings.
Follow-ups go out by click-to-chat with a pre-filled template, or over the official WhatsApp Business API where the business qualifies.
Enquiry sources, real pipeline stages, who owns what, and the three reports management will actually open are documented first.
Narvyn states in writing whether a packaged CRM would serve better. If it would, that is the recommendation and there is no build.
Leads, contacts, accounts, tasks, notes, quotations, automations and role permissions are specified before development begins.
The CRM is built, forms and APIs are wired in, and capture, assignment and notification flows are tested with real enquiries.
The sales team is trained, then the pipeline and reminders are adjusted against how they actually use it in the first weeks.
Many do, and Narvyn Technologies builds it where it earns its place — summarising a long call note, drafting a follow-up message, classifying incoming enquiries by intent, or flagging leads that have gone quiet. Most of what gets sold as CRM AI is better served by plain rules, which are cheaper and fully predictable. Narvyn keeps a person approving anything that contacts a customer or changes a deal.
